What’s been happening:

I retired from the Dept. of Defense in Sept. 1989 after 30 years, spending 21 of those years with the Army as a civilian electrical engineer. In that time span, I lived for 25 years away from PA in South Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia while working for the Federal Government, and returning to PA in March 1990. Later I accepted a job with the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry from Oct.1991 to Jan 1995 as an interviewer in Harrisburg, PA. In 1990 and 1999/2000 I, also worked part time with the Census Bureau helping take census data in south central PA. I married Emily, a nurse, in Dec. 1964, and we have a daughter, now a nurse at the Hershey Medical Center, a graduate of Virginia, and a son, a computer science graduate of Penn State, a daughter-in-law, a math major from Penn State, and one grandson, the last three living in Annapolis MD whose mayor is a Penn State graduate. While living in Maryland and Virginia I saw Penn State play Maryland and Navy in 1972, and Virginia in 1988.
